Stockval: an excellent program for stock selection. Adopts a fundamental approach to arriving at a share's value, this lets you decide whether a stock is currently under- or over-priced. The subscription includes ongoing data for several hundred stocks on the Australian, NZ and Hong Kong markets. The author, Brian McNiven, has written several investing books.

Chimes in exile: No doubt about it, this is the best discussion forum for Australian shares if you favour the fundamental approach. Not a lot of activity sometimes, but the standard of contribution is very high.
